HAMILTON, ON – The Hamilton Cardinals have acquired right-handed pitcher Danny Garcia from the Kitchener Panthers in exchange for cash considerations. Garcia, a native of Elias Piña, Dominican Republic, brings four seasons of CBL experience to the Cardinals. He made his debut with the Brantford Red Sox, where he spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Garcia began the 2024 season as a member of the Guelph Royals and was traded to the Kitchener Panthers mid-season, where he re-signed for 2025. Over his four-year CBL career, Garcia has recorded 115 strikeouts in 104.1 innings pitched across 47 appearances, including 11 starts. Garcia has also made postseason appearances in each of his four seasons in the CBL, striking out 11 batters across 10 innings of postseason work.
